Who Has a Secret?

For those of you that are friends with me on Facebook, you probably already know the news. For the others...we're going to be expanding our family by one little bundle of joy! I'm about 8 weeks pregnant and my due date is March 25th. So I apologize, again, for not blogging much, but I've been too busy trying not to get sick and trying to sleep as much as humanly possible. I've decided that God must clear our brains of all the morning sickness, exhausting days and indigestion; otherwise, why would we all keep doing this?! I seriously don't remember being this miserable the first time around, but Nick assures me I was.

We're all very excited (and nervous) at the thought of bringing another child into our lives. Before we even found out we were pregnant we had begun talking to Bailey about transitioning into her new big girl room. We figured once the baby gets here there will be more than enough changes that she will have to deal with, so this was one we wanted to go ahead and handle. We decided to move her to the other guest room in the house because it seemed to make more sense than having to take down the crib just to be able to get it out of the room and set it up again across the hall. She officially moved into her new big girl room a few weeks ago. She loves it!! I'll have to do a separate post about her room once we have it completed, we still need to paint and put curtains up.

We used Bailey to tell our families that we were expecting. I found the cutest shirt for her. I have failed to actually get a picture of her with it on, but here's what it looks like.

Here's the front

And here's the back.

I just fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! Bailey doesn't really understand what's going on. She tells people that she's going to be a big sister, but I know she really has no clue what that means. Hopefully she'll adjust well, but only time will tell.

Congratulations! How exciting! I love the t-shirt idea. Bailey probably doesn't understand yet but she will more and more as the months go along. Perfect timing for the transition to the other room too.

I look forward to reading about your journey! Two are a handful but it's so worth it. Hang in there, hopefully the morning (all day) sickness will ease up in a few weeks.
