Can I tell you how much I am loving Bailey's big girl bed?? Ever since the first night, when this happened, everything has been great! Here's a couple of things I am loving.
It could be a fluke, but since we converted her crib into a big girl bed, she's been sleeping later! Now, I really don't know how it could have a correlation, but she goes to bed at the same time and she has slept at least 30 minutes later than normal every day this week. This morning she was still asleep at 7:50, and the only reason she woke up is because I went into her room! She used to wake up between 7 and 7:15 every morning, so I'll take every extra minute I can get...especially on the weekends!
And my absolute most favorite thing about the new big girl bed...we get to read a book before bed now. Before, once Bailey knew it was bed time, she didn't want to do anything else. Do you want to rock first? No. Night night. Do you want to read a book? No. Night night. But now that she can get into bed and I can sit on the floor next to her, she loves reading a book. She's so darn sweet while I'm reading it just melts my heart. She kind of nods along with the story, laughs if there's something funny and really seems to enjoy it as much as I do. With her growing up way too fast (seriously, she's going to be 2 in a week!!!) it's nice to have these little moments together.

I'm sold! If the big boy bed will help Colin sleep longer, I should have done it a long time ago!
I wanted to see if you guys were going to the festival in G'town this weekend. I didn't know if it was worth walking around at or not. If so, are there any cute little places that serve breakfast (besides Cracker Barrel or Bob Evans)? If the festival is a no-go, we might hit up Boyd's Orchard before their selection gets too picked over. Have a good weekend!
